Land and Site Analysis

I. Location

The proposed 60800 Square meters site for the APMC is located in the Village-Piluda, near Tharad city.

II. Land Ownership

The land measuring 60800 Square meters is currently owned by the associates of promoters and shall be transferred to the LLP, once the in-principle approval for the project is received.

III. Land Conversion and other Approvals

The Limited Liability Partnership (LLP) Firm will obtain necessary clearance for conversion of land use from agriculture to industrial.

The APMC will also obtain No Objection Certificate from Gujarat Pollution Control Board for setting up the facilities.

IV. Current Status

The site is fairly leveled and has a gentle slope towards the west side. The site has a good drainage with no water body or visible water impounding within the proposed area.

V. Climate

The climate of the region is hot and moist with winters cool and pleasant but summers are extremely hot and dry. Temperature can reach a high 46 C at times. The region experiences good rainfalls during the monsoon season from June to September.

VI. Infrastructure Availability

1. Water

The primary source of water is Narmada Canal passing through the outskirts of the proposed site and secondary is ground water. The natural water is available at 30 feet from the ground level of site.

2. Telecommunications

Most of the telecom players are active in the area and the upgradation of existing telecommunication infrastructure would not be a constraint for the development of the APMC.
